Coercion

Greg Barker is a suave and headstrong salesman with a penchant for a good night on the town. When a twisted sociopath steals an object of immense importance from him, committing seemingly random acts of crime to satisfy his malicious tormentor is the only way for Greg to retrieve it. A thought provoking and heart-stopping race against time, Coercion is a story of how a deeply flawed yet innocent man's strength, fortitude and courage are tested to the limit to save what he needs and cares for the most.

Over a year in development, Coercion finally arrives after months of extensive post production and re-cuts to create the definitive edition of the film. An homage to film noir, the short was created as part of the first year Film & Video Production course at The University Of Derby.

Written & directed by Christopher Bevan, produced by Jason White, Silvia De Abreu and Christopher Bevan, Director Of Photography Benjamin Hodge, edited by Silvia De Abreu, music by Kevin MacLeod.

Starring Felix Harber, Becky Clayden, Alex Marriott, Paul Hann and Mike Hill.
