On the last performance night of Philip Glass's opera "Satyagraha", Occupy Wall Street protesters came to protest the anti-democratic policies of Lincoln Center. Lincoln Center and the NYPD responded with a heavy presence and barricades confining protesters to the sidewalk. These barricades quickly became an absurdity as protesters and patrons alike swarmed the barricades from either side to hear supportive speakouts on the People's Mic by Philip Glass, Laurie Anderson and Lou Reed. Article, including full version of statement seen here being read by the crowd: http://occupywallst.org/article/occup...

Occupy Our Homes December 6 Action in East New York, Brooklyn:
Occupy Wall Street begins a new phase in its efforts to restore social equality to America by teaming up with Occupy Our Homes and other community groups in an attempt to move a family left homeless by eviction into a home foreclosed by a bank and left empty and unused for three years.

Occupy Thanksgiving:
#Occupy Wall Street celebrates Thanksgiving with a feast for anyone showing up at Zucotti Park. 3,000 dinners served. The party could not be spoiled by either the property management's demanding the food be served outside the park or by NYPD's interrupting the drummers' jam.

N17 Day of Action
Just two days after being evicted from Zucotti Park, Occupy paralyzed downtown Manhattan November 17th saw multiple rallies, speak-outs, and acts of civil disobedience throughout the day. This playlist features a few of the morning's actions and the triumphant return to the park, which turns to anger after NYPD's bloody bullying of a youth.

Zucotti Park Evicted 11-15-11 Rough footage
Barely cut footage from the night the park was evicted without notice. I arrived shortly after the police began demanding everyone leave the park, and left just before the arrests began.

Occupy Brooklyn's March to Evict Corporate Greed
A rarely-seen side of the Occupy movement: no conflicts with police, but an informative walking tour of Downtown Brooklyn's worst sites of corporate-driven development destroying communities. A beautiful example of community-oriented Occupy activism.
