In theaters the 3D system comprises of a high gain reflective silver screen, circular polarized glasses, a Z screen and its controller. The dual images are interlaced onto the screen so some resolution is lost. Left and right images is modulated 72 times per second giving a smooth transition. Color spacing is offset by adjusting the gammut files on the projector. Projectors are usually DLP tech with exception of Sony SRD.

It's not just the glasses that makes the video 3d. The video projector is different. It shows the picture multiple times. The glasses just make those pictures be shown as a 3d one!
Most Important! Our screens CANNOT play real d. You need a special one, with multiple panels! Those special screens begin to appear in Japan.
