@01coyote13 just have to test it out. make sure you can do all the reps but make it difficult to do

@Tstn53 Veins have nothing to do with steroids! When you train your muscles the blood will rush to them and that's why you will get this vain pump. I hate silly people like you why yell out steroids at other peoples accoplisments because you can't reach anything yourself!

how do you know the right amount of weight? and how do you know which amounts of reps get you strength and which ones size?

STERIODS

In snatches, the radial brachialis is activated, which goes into and basically forms the lower part of the bicep. So technically, bicep is involved.

I'm not saying that if they do incorporate biceps curls into their routine that illegitamizes their entire training regimen. I am saying that, IMO, single joint movements do not belong in a strength training program. Biceps strength can be developed just as - if not more - effectively through multi-joint (compound) movements like cleans, snatches, weighted and unweighted pull-ups, etc.

@benbrown1982 Ben, IMO you're just regurgitating a silly opinion you heard at your local crossfit gym. Certain single joint movements do belong in serious strength training programs and that's why real athletic performance coaches include them in the training regimens for real athletes. Also, if you are developing biceps strength by doing cleans or snatches then YOU ARE DOING THEM WRONG. THE BICEPS ARE ABSOLUTELY NOT INVOLVED IN CLEANS OR SNATCHES.

Biceps curls have no place in a legitimate strength training program.

@benbrown1982 Really? That's an interesting opinion. So according to you, every NFL running back, linebacker and wide receiver is not using a "legitimate strength training program" because they do biceps curls. You sound like an expert, you should start posting videos.
Best.
CK.
