For most motorists,Trabis belong in the slow lane. But Ulf Strecker's Trabi can overtake practically everything else on the autobahn! The Golf GTINew Golf generations have traditionally been complemented with their very own GTI model - and the new edition is no exception. The 2-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine delivers 210 horsepower and propels the GTI from zero to 100 kilometers per hour in just 6.9 seconds. It reaches a top speed of 240 km/h. The souped-up Golf is standard-fitted with a new electronic transverse differential lock and a six-speed transmission. It's already on the market in Europe and set to arrive in the US and Japan later this year. In Germany prices start at 26,650 euros.examine it! The latter allows a variety of colour schemes for the dash, inside door panels and upholstery to be installed - without the need for a toolbox. The 250-euro price for the Chameleo kit means the Peugeot 1007 is set to remain very popular indeed.admire it! The SupertrabiFor most motorists,Trabis belong in the slow lane. Safety First for Canine CompanionsDogs hanging their heads and ears out of moving cars might look cute. But the scenario can be an extremely dangerous one for both dog and driver - as crash tests have graphically illustrated. It is in fact against the law in Germany, where dogs are considered cargo and have to be secured in place accordingly. Drive It! presents a variety of new features for canine passengers, from safety belts and boxes to entry ramps with an emergency exit.vintage! The Ford Capri ClubThe unveiling of the first Ford Capri in 1969 was a sensation. During its 27-year lifespan two million units were sold. The slick-looking coupé was not quite as sporty as it looked, the basic model generated just 50 horsepower. In the early 1970s,however,Capris conquered the European motorsports scene - driven by the luminary likes of Niki Lauda. The cult car celebrates its 40th birthday this year.
