  • I've never heard this before--even though I was born in '70--and this is one very cool song.

  • @mrjohnshaft1975 "it's documented" Ever hear of typos? Just because something is in writing does not make it true. I know that on "it's our thing" 1969 on the T neck label produced by Buddah records, Ronnie is described as the "vocalizer" for the group---note that the instruments are always listed on the albums but who sings in any capacity is not listed--but in concert--it was always Ronald--always--on the high parts--kelly and others on the deeper parts NEVER Ronnie.

  • @mrjohnshaft1975 --my sister says she saw Ronnie sing this in concert-Kelly did not sing it--Ronnie did so what documentation says Kelly sang lead instead of Ronnie? I have the album and am looking at it--it is not on the album--I saw the Isley brothers in concert many times (I can't remember them singing Let me down easy) at the concerts I went to--but whenever I saw them--the falsetto/tenor was always Ronnie--the bass, etc--Rudolph and others--my sis would know and she says Ronnie sang it

  • @mrjohnshaft1975 --maybe it was documented wrong--did you see it on tv? I never saw anyone sing the high stuff except Ronald--sorry about that 15 comment--we should be able to discuss these things without sniping. Now you have me wondering....(at least you did not tell me it was a beatle or something singing like Ronald)

  • @iamthequeenbee100 its documented. O'Kelly sang "Let me down Easily" And Queen Much Older than 15....check it out! Rudolph also sang lead on a few verses of some songs

  • @ia

Well thank you for that informative info......I stand corrected....thanks again...I don't wannna be singing the wrong words 2a song

  • I love this cut!

  • @sometimes350 --moon beams not moon means--moon beams in a jar is in reference to a popular song out in the 1960s--"would you like to swing on a star--carry moonbeams home in a jar..."

  • @chuckiesfest21 --to do what? It was before blacks did gymnastics instead of dancing--and before there was video for whites to spend months studying and copying the aerobics set to music that passes for a lot of dancing these days--if they got on back in the day--what were supposed to do whip their hair back and forth out of beat to the music?
