Thoughts on Farewells

I never can say goodbye. No no no no I. I never can say goodbye. Disco lyrics aside, I've been thinking about all the people I've said goodbye to in the past few weeks and I realized that I've been much too nonchalant about saying goodbye. I've never really thought about the fact that I may never see these people again. What have I learned about this person that I will miss? What have I learned from this person? Just something to think about.

@audionautix Most of them are going back to their respective states. A couple went off to law school. Some are still trying to find jobs. The job market down here is really rough. There's next to nothing down here. I'm a little worried.

I know exactly what you're talking about. A few years back I worked with a friend very closely for a year. Then, we went our seperate ways, and I was quite sad about it for some time. But, then I realized, my friend wasn't exactly making any attempts to keep in touch with me, and that friendships go both ways, you know?
