I speak before the Clearwater Mayor and City Commission and inform them of the latest unethical activities of Scientology. I suggest they erect a stature to the former mayor of the city who fought Scientology aggressively, Gabe Cazares. Scientologist Loren Westenberger responds.

If you are talking to a scientologist and his/her lips are moving then he/she is lying. They honestly believe what they are saying because of the 1000s of hours of indoctrination. It is sad that this cult is recognized as a religion by the US.

Loren Westenberger died November 5, 2011 at his cottage in Brooksville, Florida

In the last years of his life, he privately withdrew his support for scientology and joined the Unity Church in Clearwater. He worked as a volunteer for a community radio station for many years.
