Firstly, thanks to everyone for comments/rating! You're all way too great. Here some FAQ, but if you have any other question don't hesitate to ask. Love

Common Questions:
Does it hurt?
This depends person to person. It didn't hurt me, but I've been told I have a high pain tolerance.

Does it scar/is it noticeable if you take it out?
They did scar me, but the holes aren't noticeable unless I point them out to someone. The whole actually never healed up completely for me (I took them out Jan. 2009) and I can force the bar in with minor swelling for a day afterward.

Do I regret it?
Never! I loved having them, but I got bored of them, so I got a tattoo instead :)

How much does it cost?
Varies from place to place, and I was told I over paid (i think something like $75 for both) but that included a free ring/change 6 weeks after.

Aftercare:
ASK YOUR PIERCER! They always have great advice, and great techniques for a clean, infection-free piercing. What i did was dissolve sea salt in a water bottle half filled with alcohol-free mouthwash (original flavour) , half distilled water. They healed up within a week for me.

No they don't numb it. It honestly doesn't hurt at all! Well maybe a little bit depending on your pain threshold. No there was no bleeding. People don't usually (commonly) pierce areas that bleed...

Youll only bleed alot if you hit a vein and it can be painful. the person that did yours probably had no idea what they were doing.

@1vessy4 they don't numb your lip because,

1. it doesn't hurt

2. because if they were to numb it, it hardens the outside skin of your lip (which makes it more awkward to push through

3. because when they put the clamp on that starts to numb it (or make the area dead, like you can't feel it)

when i had mine done 2 hour eler i had loads of painkillers and food and that helps

It is not hard to make out with snake bites. I have them and I did them myself. I didn't see why you would pay the money for them when it is just as easy to do at home. But make sure you know what you are doing..... I have done all 6 of my piercings and still going.
