As for the money thing, while it may seem bad now, we need to invest it in programs that will benefit us later. Thats the whole point of the stimulu, so fix the roads and invest in new things that will help us in the long run.

Well, it appears that YOU are the one who has been hearing wrong. First off, just because someone SAYS they are going to do something, doesn't necessarily mean they are. second, the problems he is "fixing", weren't necessarily caused by Bush. Bush takes orders from hundreds of other people, just because you are the president doesn't mean you are the highest in authority, that is a common misconception. Obama seems to be under the influence he can do anything, he needs a wake up call
