  • I'm a US citizen so I just saw it. I heard it did really well overseas. It's a shame that homophobia was a hindrance on this films distribution in the United States. I'm a young female and I can't think of why anyone wouldn't cheer for the main character. The acting was top notch and it was surprisingly very funny and touching. I even cried. bravo.

  • A must-see, this movie. It will make you laugh and it will make you cry. And after a while you will see it is not a "gay-movie" at all. It is a story about what people will do for love.

  • This movie topped broke back mountain as far as gayness goes... But holy crap, both jim Carrey and Ewan McGregor are amazing! I would give this movie 5 put of 5 stats...

  • @alexleonee Agreed I actually found this movie before it was available in America when looking at Jim Carrey's imdb. I watched it and was eagerly anticipating it to be brought here and I just found it to be available (mainly because I forgot about it). And I'm a young straight guy, I had no problems with this movie. It's definitely the gayest movie I've seen, and can be unsettling for some people but I wouldn't let that scare you away from such a great movie.

  • @reddogguy1 stupid homophobic people...

  • @MrKemore17 get over it...he is an actor and a bunch of actors played gay roles...stupid homphobic people...if it's about two lesbians you would jerk off wouldn't you??

  • @kerplookie17 I didn't mean it in stereotypical way what I meant in all actuality is that I just didn't feel the chemistry. To me it was a fail!

  • @briannamichelle44 "Too manly" to play a homosexual character? Because every single gay man is incredibly flamboyant and camp, right? Just like every lesbian is butch, with short hair.

How about trying to look beyond stereotypes?

  • @MrKemore17 Was that all this movie was to you? Just butt fucking?
