Beautiful song, nice job!

Really? I am always surprised when people compliment my singing. Thank you, I've been trying to improve some things about my vocals.
The song works. I must admit, I never dreamed that I'd write one like this, but it all started with a chorus and just grew from there.

Thanks, Sandra...and thanks for your help on that favor I mentioned, too. You are a true friend.

Thanks! I've got a modern rockabilly song that I'm working on right now that ought to be more "down your alley". It has a rhythm riff that just smokes!!
Thanks for believing that I can do a lot of stuff. Its like you say- I do try to do my very best.

Thank you for checking this out, Shirley. Your comment means a lot to me. I'm glad that it sounds pleasing to the ear. If people can't get past the sound of a song, they won't listen to the words.

I can always count on you to give me a good, constructive, but honest view of my work. That is a good thing. I notice that my songs are getting "lighter"...a lot of the heavy-topic songs are the older ones. I'm fairly proud of all the songs I've been given that I've posted on YouTube, but I am glad that the newer ones are a little more upbeat. As Vince Gill learned, you can hand the public only so much heartache before it starts to get old...
