This is a HOT BLEUS tune I recorded of the Uptown Lowdown Jazz Band at THE 14TH ANNUAL GLACIER JAZZ STAMPEDE festival, Sunday, October 7th, 2007.
The song title is:
"The best Blues in the world, but I don't know the title "
Uptown Lowdown is one of the most popular bands on the dixieland/trad jazz circuit today, and I can never seem to get enough of the great music they perform.
Band Members:
Bert Barr - Cornet/Leader
Rose Barr - Piano
Tom Jacobus - Trombone
Paul Woltz - Reeds
John Goodrich - Reeds
Art Horgen - Tuba
Al LaTourette - Banjo
Check out the websites above for more information and CD's.
Nice slow-blues stuff... I notice that the trombone player, pretty new to the band the last time I got to hear 'em in person, seems to fit right in now. Also, a VERY nice bass sax solo! Paul Woltz for President!!

Yup! I'll vote for Paul. I know for certain that he plays a saxaphone a lot better than Bill Clinton! And, George Bush can't play one at all.
Thanks for your Comments.
