But alas none of it paid any money, i had no job security, could not secure a loan even though most of the time (because I had no life and worked 2-3 jobs a week) i was making money, it was unsecured money, so who would give me a loan? When i left the army in 1996, My first job after the military paid 30K plus bonus, I was on 36K plus. Then Howard got in, so I have a very good idea how far real wagers have fallen. The funny thing about that "disposal store" they wanted me to manage their purchasing for all the chains stores, they offered me 26K (the store job was offered the following day). Actually i had 16 jobs, all casual, no holiday leave, sick leave, no super, no overtime. And all i got was minimum wage. in 12 years i have not had one holiday. over 80% of New employees in Australia are treated just like me. And if you don't believe me I can prove it. The last permanent job I was offered was managing a Disposal Store (Will not mention any names Aussie)WTF do you think they offered me 29 1/2K a year. That was with 4 staff, lockup, till, wage etc continued..
