I was wondering, did you appeal to both agents and publishers? Did you end up using an agent in order to get the company to publish you?
And did you include your age in your query letter? I'm figuring that would be a deal breaker to not want to take you.
Oh, and congratulations! This was great to watch.

do you need to have the entire story finished before you send a query letter?
oXEmilyCrawshawXo 8 months ago
@oXEmilyCrawshawXo No, it is not required to have it all finished but if an agent wants to work with you after the query letter they will ask for a proposal. In that proposal you have to outline all your chapters and provide a sample chapter. So it's a good idea to at least have an outline of your work in your mind.

im 14 and i want to get my work published;
but my computer does not have sound,is there a good publishers site or do i get it out there myself?

@jakaloverlord Get a copy of the current Writers Market. That has all the lists of publishers. Then write up a query letter and start sending it out

Ok just finished my first chapter for my book Wolves in the Mist, i was curious, what font is bast for the book?
PrettySkitty16 1 year ago
@PrettySkitty16 Yay! Good for you and congrats on finishing your first chapter. The best font for writing, at least for me, is verandah. However once you send it to a publisher, they re format your work anyway so it's really a personal choice =]
