When Muslims Become Like Evangelicals

Just some thoughts on some issues I see. I am not a convert to Islam nor am I posing as one. I accidentally said "we". When I read or study a religion I think of it as my own while doing so.

Islam is an evangelical religion, as is christianity. So it makes sense that they'd be evangelical.

Greetings, Among Muslims the term "Evangelical" means something much different then what the term means to evangelicals.

Islam was spread by the pen, not the sword. The sword was only limited to defending people.

I would like to clarify that it was not the prophet but Allah who created and revealed the Quran via His messenger that is the Prophet pbuh.

when the revelation came to him, he asked the companion to write it down, but Qurán was a book for the first time when he was already died. Because qurán meant to be memorized not to be read, it has to be in the heart of every muslim. As a guidance. But since not everybody so called "muslim" do it, Islam became a misunderstood religion, because than they start acting against the book. They become a stranger to their own religion, yet millions of people memorized it but that's just not enough.

You are right, God doesn't need us, He mention that in the Qurán that even the whole world is atheist He is still God.

but I am sorry to say that you are wrong if you think "Muhammad pbuh took the art of poetry combined it with sacred literature, he made this beautiful, beautiful text." the man was illiterate. He never wrote it, he memorized the whole book, like millions of muslims do.

Also the Surahs are not written in order. before Mohamed had power, all of his scripture was peaceful. when he gained power, you will see that his verses became more and more hostile and something which is allowed in Islam which is abrogation of contradicting verses abrogates many of the early peaceful verses.

Islam is explicit in its literature that you must be Muslim in order to go to heaven and that those who are not Muslim are to be treated differently. Read the Hadiths along with the Qur'an and you will see (although old testament is also violent) that Islam is the most violent of all the three monotheistic religions. Read the hadeths and the Qur'an and you will see much of the vast amount of silence amongst Muslims about Muslim terrorism explained

thank you for yur opinion. but you didn't understand the Surat also you didn't be specific about what's bothering you. telling people about Allah and His last authentic message is a must. forcing them to accept it, is not.
