The 2010 Canadian Pacific US Holiday train led by CP 9824 Ac4400 rounds the bend and races west along side CN 385 at the denfield rd bridge. The holiday train had clearance to Ringold siding. The holiday train had to wait for CN 385 at the melrose Diamond. The holiday train suprised me because cp 245 got clearance before the holiday train so it suprised me a little. CN 385 was also a nice catch because he normally runs through london during the early hours in the morning in darkness. It must have been a long shift for them because they required a re crew at eggerton st london yard. With the fresh crew on board they are headed west to sarnia with CN 2505 Dash9-44cwl , CN 2603 dash9-44cw, CN 5279 SD40-2w & GT 4906 gp38-2. Filmed on december 2,2010

  • Man you must've been freezing hopefully you had a very heavy coat on.

  • @UPHeritage I was waiting in the car listening to my scanner winter railfanning is quite a bit diferent than summer railfanning! lol I head on 4 different layers! It was very cold though! Do you have facebook? Right now in London, Ontario where i live we have got about 100CM of snow or 60 inches in 2days and still may get more. Makes for great snow shots

  • I'm surprised that the snow isn't any taller to get the rail snowplows out that'd be an epic catch. Yeah I have facebook but rarely use it I'm mainly a youtuber. Yeah I can agree with you there snow shots are probably my favorite shots

  • @KeithArnotBurr Good thing AC4400's are not as tall as autoracks & Double stacks! LOL or there would have been some tree trimming!

  • Wow that must have been close. That tree on top of the CP loco I mean. Denfield bridge is very close to the trains on the CP side.

  • @chrisvazquez7 Thanks Chris I waited about 2 1/2 hours for him lol!

  • Perfect shot Jon!! :D
