NOW FOR SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT!!
Here's a duet by two real masters of the art who are, sadly, no longer with us. (But I don't have to believe it, if I don't want to!)
Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong recorded this in the mid 1950's (when the N.O. 'revival' was also under way) accompanied by Oscar Peterson; pno. Herb Ellis; gtr. Ray Brown; bss. and Louie Bellson; dms.
I think this recording is a classic example of the perfection they EACH could achieve; -what do you think?
