FCTV - 073109 - Unfunny

FCTV for Force Cast 073109 - Unfunny. The recent G4 Star Wars Spectacular was a spectacle alright. Kinda like a car wreck or people breaking up at the mall. You're compelled to watch but it's gruesome and uncomfortable. Jason has some choice words this week to describe this spectacular disappointment. Completed 8/2/9.

Absolutely right, Jason! I enjoyed the spectacular, but only in between commercials when I had to crank my volume up just to hear what was going on. And G4 really did over-hype it. It would have been much better streamed over the internet, or done with a lot more coordination with Lucasfilm. It all seemed unrehearsed. G4 also portrayed SW fan like geeks as if it's a bad thing... maybe they should watch my show!

Hearing about this, I had to Google it. I found a written transcript of it, and seriously, it was slanderous, adhering to SW fan stereotypes like SW wasn't one of the most diverse universes out there!
