@teabaggervance8 , UKSF WORLD RECORD CAST , done at Huntingdon in England 2004 by Danny Moeskops ( this is an official Guiness world record , others have claimed to have gone a lot further since but not in competition ) LENGTH OF CAST 278.96 METRES which is equivalent to 305.0706 Yards or 915.211 feet using a 5 ounce lead or 150grams with 0.31mm main line and a 60lbs shock leader , I witnessed this Cast as i was there , i have witnessed equally and longer casts since . 900ft no shit.

@haroos , If you research this you will find somewhere on Youtube a 268 metre cast , done during a competition , i myself go way beyond 150metres , my personal best is 248 yds about 230 metres give or take a few using a 150gram ( approx 5 ounce lead ), check out UKSF CASTING CHAMPIONSHIPS or PENDULUM POWER CASTING . In the UK casters get a Badge on reaching the 200yds barrier ( 600ft ), i got mine within 5 months of learning the full Pendulum swing Power cast. 2 years more for the personal best
