Is there any truth to the statement that Case Managers recieve a bonus if they manage to cut a worker off early, or return them to work in less time than what it is predicted it will take? Unless a person actually has something like this happen to them, they seem to think it is just a few of us whining. I will never understand how "our Canada" can treat us like this. I am at the point of giving up. After almost 6 years. I hope your situation has improved.

Pathetic!!! I know of a few seriously injured people whom were injured at work and sadly all 3 have lost their benefits and jobs.

You need to create a canada wide protest with the media involved and then perhaps the Liberal Government and other officials will listen...WSIB hates bad press coverage..Then people would know what a scam WSIB and the government are pulling off!!!!!!

I'm living it brother.
Doctors, Surgeons and physio therapists all tell the WSIB there is no way I can work without a spinal surgury. The WSIB doctor reviews the case and suddendly "This person is fine to work modified duties." What? And what is my job? Counting ceiling tiles in the nurses office? The WSIB doctors don't care what the real experts say, they just wait for the cheques to come in. Meanwhile I cannot stand for more than a few minutes or sit for a few minutes without agonizing pain.

They force us to endure unbearable pain, starve us out, keep us in constant fear. Then you hear the magic words; "But you can appeal." Many good men have died in Canada because of psychological and physical abuse inflcted on them by Canada's WCB's.
