Sometimes while doing Govardhan parikrama (circumambulation of Govardhan Hill) one sees many peacocks, parrots, and on very rare occasions, some deer and blue cows (locally known as neel gaay). It is said that seeing a neel gaay is auspicious. So here I am sharing this auspicious video footage of neel gaays which I took one winter in Govardhan (around November 2005). Soundtrack kirtan is Govardhan Dasakam of Srila Raghunath das Goswami sung by Hare Krishna Prabhu and Gaurasundar Prabhu.
Yes I was the witness of the same along with my spouse while doing the holy Parikrama of Deity Lord Shri Girirajji on 10th of July 2011. Thanks to Lord Shri Girirajji.
