You mentioned in the video that you don't bother with the overviews but that is why you want to do it - to avoid crashes from bad files. When you do the overview, Serato finds files that are corrupt you'll know ahead of time and not use them. These are the ones that are more than likely causing the crash.

    Keep making videos!

  • @moesnuts the way i did it in this video it does not, but fear thee not, there is a way to keep it saved by switching the serato database in ur disk. I dont know how but I have heard of it. sorry i cant be more help. I stopped using an xternal harddrive anyway because if ur files dont save right it can make ur serato crash...& that shit sucks!

  • @daddysparkz it should show up in ur files or browes section the same way u saved it in ur Harddrive

  • I plan on getting 2 external hard drives a little after christmas (a 2tb & 500mb slim travel peice), But what I am trying to figure out if i make folders of different genres in my hard drive seperating songs into it's genes folder.... will the folder show up that way into the serato scratch live or will everything show up under the ALL folder on the serato screen?

  • Will that save your cue points too? When you use the external HD can you save cue points?
