SPEEDWAY: Thunder in the Pines!

Dirt-track racing at this old school Speedway run by the loud mouth owner, jolly GM and gay head mechanic.

OVERVIEW----
Thunder in the Pines! is a docu-soap with sitcom sensibilities set against rough and tumble world of dirt track racing.

Every week amateur drivers battle fiercely in a season-long points race to determine the track's top dog.

The track is run by a triumvirate of joksters more concerned with gossip and grab-ass than running a track.

The owner, Bill Miscoski, is a ball-busting big shot. Hes a former mayor and former racer with an ego to match.

Danny, the general manager, was the loudest, drunkest fan in the stands until Bill hired him to run the track.

Lastly, there's Wayne. He's the burly head of track maintenance.

And, oh yeah, Wayne's gay!

In this mecca of macho, Wayne's as out as the come. And he doesn't care who knows it or what they think. He's gonna be himself and be happy.

Amid this maelstrom of personalities - drivers and management - the series plays out like a soap opera. Emotions flare on and off the track while the management bicker like schoolgirls.

This would be great reality TV show! It's a lot better than some of the stuff already on TV and it was well put together. Bill would be a character in the vein of Paul Teutul Sr on American Chopper!! It has the potential to be a cult series even if its only on YouTube. Very good!!

I have been to this track for a few Mudbogs and Races. What a bunch of Country Boy, Hillbilly, Redneck, Gearhead Yahoos (although the scenery isn't all that bad)! This could be a reality show on the Country Music Television (CMT) station. Call it "New Jersey Redneck Racing with Boss Hog". Boss Hog would be the guy who looks like Colonel Sanders.
