Indeed, I always sit (never stand) in rapt attention at any musical event I attend, and give stern looks to any plebeians in attendance who dare to clap or "hoot or holler" and disturb my enjoyment.
Also, when I see a live performance by a comedian, I do not dare to laugh out loud at any jokes, for it may affect the listening experience of another patron. I merely smirk, and perhaps nod if I'm feeling particularly rambunctious.
