~ PETER, PAUL & MARY ~ singing "Wasn`t That A Time".
Valley Forge really tested our troops souls during the Civil War. They were cold and hungry. Over a thousand troops lost their lives to disease, and many were badly wounded, but decided to stick with George Washington and the patriot cause. That is the significance of the song.
とても懐かしいです。涙が出ました
It is very nostalgic. The tear came out.

wow - way to boil a song down to nothing! Valley Forge was during the Revolutionary War; later they bring up the Civil War; and they use both to point at the time during which they were singing, with the civil rights movement and the Vietnam War going on

My friend, you should change the word "Civil" to "Revolutionary" in your description. This is a wonderful song. Thanks for posting.
