~ PETER, PAUL & MARY ~ singing "Wasn`t That A Time".

Valley Forge really tested our troops souls during the Civil War. They were cold and hungry. Over a thousand troops lost their lives to disease, and many were badly wounded, but decided to stick with George Washington and the patriot cause. That is the significance of the song.

  • とても懐かしいです。涙が出ました

It is very nostalgic. The tear came out.

  • Is this a different recording than on " a song will rise"

  • wow - way to boil a song down to nothing! Valley Forge was during the Revolutionary War; later they bring up the Civil War; and they use both to point at the time during which they were singing, with the civil rights movement and the Vietnam War going on

  • My friend, you should change the word "Civil" to "Revolutionary" in your description. This is a wonderful song. Thanks for posting.
