I don't think the piece was negative... They stressed that the only concern was safety. They clearly showed that the owner had signs posted as well as a secure enclosure. Tigers have been poached to practical extinction in their native lands. This one was born in the USA and wouldn't even have the chance to live if not in captivity. In some cases it is the only way an animal can survive. Maybe not the best way, but much better than not at all. The tiger seemed content to me.

I open my door and am literally 25 yards from rowdy( the tiger) trust me he is well taken care of i visit with him every day before and after work.just an oversized kitten!! we did have a probem with curiosity seekers...had a car pull into the driveway. little did they know when they got to get out i have a doberman that was staring straight at them lol. they got back in and left...not many problems since then
