  • Want to give some MPG specs on this? or miles per charge? Destroyed a perfectly good 959

  • Our Porsches' with AGM cells go 100+ miles per charge, with a cost of about 1-2$ us, Our cars with Lithium Iron (LiFe) cells go 250 Miles+ per charge.

The porsche is a 911 with a body kit mad of fiberglass. We made the molds offf a real 959.

  • Yea im sorry but the idea of an electric porsche really don't appeal to me. In fact I can't imagine some one who loves driving their porsche would ever even think of converting their car to electric.

  • See this is where u are wrong..

0-60 mph in 3 seconds for 200 miles for 1$! and this is why.... I agree, I lve the sound and feel of a real 911! but the rewards of the conversion outweigh it.... I gaurntee, if you come drive one of our show cars, you will want both! im sure, sold.....

  • they look getto

  • gee thanks

  • Its an electric motor its from 0rpm to max rpm. Electric motors have a vertical torque curve. People always cry about battery range but batter range is meaningless. Simple solution is dont sell the car with batteries AND make them replaceable on the fly. So you pull up at a gas/electric station you drive your car in a building thats something like a carwash. A robot grabs the batteries out of your car and replaces them with charged ones. Problem solved and the ragheads can go eat sand.

  • @gnoxycat Great idea - replacing used batteries with new ones. The replaced ones could then be recharged by the garage.

  • Don't be fooled by the guy who posted this video. He is a con artist and charges people fortunes of money, promises big, and then delivers cars that don't work AT ALL (if he delivers them at all). I (and many others) got burned in a major way that has affected my life and marriage because I trusted this guy by the name of Paul Liddle. All I wanted to do was do the right thing and go electric. Check out coolgreencar.info

  • Unlike some posters, I'm all for electric cars. What I'm not for is paying many tens of thousands of dollars for something I could build from a beater VW Beetle, MR-2 or Fiero for a small fraction of the price.

They definitely got the Porsche vibe right though in the video; that Eurotrash music is exactly what I hear blaring out of every Porsche I see.

  • @quickcooper61 Well at least it would be reliable :D

  • *YYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWNNN*. Yet ANOTHER "go green" gay vid with no information. How much does it cost? You say I could buy 5 new porsches? How fast is it? about the same in short runs? How long to charge it up? So I have to wait HOURS when it runs out? Yeah, that's "awesome". pffft. Let al gore live in a grass hut and ride a donkey to work.

  • @sawink1

    That "959" just screams REPLICA.

Looks like one of those 964 conversion kits.

  • @gnoxycat Buy the car, rent the battery!

  • I never see any of these type of car in video, where they are driving in the rain, or in cold weather. In cold weather the batterys will not last as long. What about snow? Or are these just for Sunday drives?

  • Jaguar recentley released an electric sports car, its big point was the on-board charging of batteries, well whoopeedoo, at last!

Solar panels, KERS and maybe (gosh) a small genny in the boot and you could have a full sized electric car with a 500 mile range

    Id buy 1!

  • Why would they do that to a 959? That's a collectors car. Just butcher a 911 and leave the 959 alone!!!
