Now why dont you put ur self in other peoles shoes before you go and say something. This is exactly what Samson needs. Are you also going to say that by best friend died in a car wreck in June of 2009 this is only a couple of months after the shooting. but are you going to say that his stupid idiot friend was going around a curve that was posted as 35mph and he was going 100. yea didnt think so. people like you make me sick!

I am actually from Samson. My friend which was Michaels cousin was shot. He had the same exact birthday as my sister too. Yeah the Sheriff shurely did call the army because they needed help. i would like to see you take Gregs place that day. lets see what you would have done. why dont you think. I bet you wouldve clocked out and went home. and said u were asleep when it happened. We also needed help because our Samson City Police were in Kinston helping with the investigation of Michaels mother.

Hey Fever still never answered my question. Your such an expert you can tell the difference between National Guard and Active Army by a picture. Which would be amazing, myself who was in the Guard could not.
Also, for those sheep to this moron, there is an National Guard MP Armory about 20 miles from Samson.

Uh, I never saw a question - sorry bout that. Calling me a moron won't help find the truth.
At the time of this report there was no clear understanding of the source of the troops - therefore one must simply ask the question - who are these guys?
If you can point me at a source for the answer we would all appreciate it. But it is speculation until we know the truth.

this is NOT true.... I am a local television reporter who covered event...soldiers were used to patrol traffic cause there was a lack of law enforcement... there is a base nearby so the soldiers just help out when needed.

Excellent - a real 'local' source! were the soldiers carrying handguns? were they regular army? or national guard? MP's? It matters to us out here...

maybe you should read it again. i encourage everyone to actually read the document, and then compare it to the nonsense people write about it. there may be real problems with this document, but the conspiracy nuts are taking this and running with it.

You are technically correct. The phrasing allows these group membership to be characterised as a way to recognise extremist militia to the police. Extremist Militia are often (mis-represented ) as Terrorists due to the language used in the USA PATRIOT Act.
Therefore - a police officer would be led to believe that group membership MAY indicate membership in a terror group.
