Tignes, what a week!!

Put this short vid together to give you an idea of what the run down the mountain overlooking Tignes Le Lac was like. This was on the first day, with blue skies and decent snow cover, just not powder unfortunately. A mix of black and red runs, bumpy in places but great for quickly scrubbing off some vertical. There's a lot of ground to cover in and around the area but to get the most out of it you can easily clock up the mileage. Not the best of quality footage but it should give some idea of the pistes above the village.

If your proficient enough on a board H you can pretty well go anywhere you like; the hard bit is getting the funding! It's your life so live it :)

Shame your toe in the mirky waters of snowboarding didn't come off but you mustn't let that stop you taking up this noble art. There's nothing quite like coming down a snowy mountain, bathed in strong sunshine, and just the sound of the wind whistling past your ears......you, the board and the moment, if you haven't been there then need to do WHATEVER is necessary to get there!

Probably easier on skiis if your learning; but not the same fun dude.
