XeviFoo 2008, #3 - CHAOS (MUTEMATH)

Back again!
Hehehe, this weekend I did my homework and did two videos.
Well, basically the first one "Killer" (see video #2 of my 2008 series) was a short song. So due that I had some remaining time I gave a shot to some Mutemath song that I wanted to do.
This "Chaos" cover is far from good enough; this is just "Try 1". I tried and recorded the song in one hour; not much time to learn it 100%. But it came pretty decent after all. Someday I'll have to do the final cover of this song...
(Well I fucked up several times and specially the cool odd beat fill at the end counting the tempo with the sticks...I did fifty pushups to compensate...well change "pushups" for "nothing" and forget about the fifty... yeah, my own sense of humor strikes again).
If you already know about Mutemath you already know they are an amazing band, if you don't: I hope you like this song and make you want to know more about them, they are just plain awesome. One of the greatest bands I discovered recently.
What else? Well, what you see is me after three hours of intense drumming, I left the sound of me breathing at the end so you could get the idea of: yes, drumming is f* tiring!
Also on the, let's say "solo" part, I came with some stuff on the fly, because I couldn't learn all the parts and would be painful to hear me trying to catch the breaks when they already happened. (A bit of this happens on the beginning of the song...sorry).Hope you don't mind.
Once again from now on, I put the Drum Track at the end for those who may be interested. It's just the sound of drums, nothing else, so don't complain about that okay?!.
I hope you like the cover; this is a great great song.
I gotta go, next weekend I'll be in Paris for a few days...and the next one...Juliette and The Licks show!

for all of you that are saying it is the record company that decided the audio should be removed.

youtube has a feature that is designed to detect and remove any audio from videos that are using the song without permissions. so, if you don't want your audio removed then don't post a video with the mp3 of the song. if you don't believe me, do some research, that's what google is for.
