  • I stopped drinking soda when I went to boarding school. The cafeteria only had juice and water. Now it been 3 years since leaving highschool and my main drink is water. I probaby drink 1or 2 cocacolas a year(no pepsi or anything flavored or clear) Its a bit refreshing. Because I drink it so infrequently it burns the back of my throat but usually thats exactly what i'm looking for when I start itching to drink it. I am wary of anything diet or sugar free.

  • Upon tasting the sweetness your body releases insulin to match up and neutralize the "sugar" when no sugar is there in reality to match up with this load of insulin the insulin which is also known as the "fat hormone" then stores itself as fat.... generally stomach fat.

  • Take into consideration DietOramy extra load loss program? Have you come across it? I have stumbled on it at random by googling around and this pack is simply wonderful... I am burning off my accumulated fat and I'm sensing considerably healthier.

  • Lol. It's one biased study against another.

  • @poopalisk yeah it's not going to taste like pop or juice because there's not a load awful ingredients in water to give you that flavour

  • Water is not disgusting. Go work out real hard, then drink Pop, you'll realize how bad it is for you.

  • I stopped drinking diet soda years ago. I also avoid anything with artificial sweeteners. I drink water instead. Sometimes, I drink carbonated water like Perrier. There are studies you can read about at the American Diabetes Association Web site that suggest people gain weight, especially stomach fat, by drinking diet soda.

  • This study says x another study says the opposite....basically none of these studies can be taken as fact. I wish they would do bigger studies and come up with more conclusive results before going to the press.

  • My favorite drink is water :) I'm so glad it's water.

  • beer is better

  • @jackdevanie Hello, I am very glad you have lost that much weight. But I truly believe that you are drinking to much diet soda. I drink a 2 liter bottle a day and worry about over loading on aspartame. I read somewhere that someone put aspartame on a ant hill and it killed all the ants (sweet ants?) Any way. I thought you would like to know this.

  • @fretburn100 sorry if I came off as an ass in my last comment. I get the fact that soda in general, diet or not isn't good for you. However, I do think that further research needs to be done regarding these issues. I like having one or diet sodas as a way of relaxing. I'm currently trying to live a healthier lifestyle in general, and that's why I came to this video. I think that in moderation diet sodas are okay. It's when you go overboard with 5 or 6 per day that it becomes unhealthy.
