September 3, 2011: We were incredibly moved by the Little Miss Project Live the fans created during our show at the New York State Fair in Syracuse this weekend. Two schoolteachers named Julie and Amy organized the project, distributing over 6,000 signs of healing and remembrance for the crowd to raise during "Little Miss." We want to thank Julie and Amy -- and everyone who participated -- for reaching out with so much hope. Thank you, fans. You are loved.

That was truly a moving moment during the concert. There was a super cute little girl, maybe 6 years old, standing on her chair brushing hair out of her face and hold up her sign the for the whole song. This song helps me face everyday because I know there are some days I don't feel like going to work but this song motivates me. I really love you both and I would love for Sugarland to come to NYC!!!! Not through amex either!!!!
