My husband knew how important Kiwi was to me, so it wasn't two weeks later until I got another one. Kirby has stolen my heart as well and he will be 3 in Aug. Kirby is actually a better bird. He has more personality and when I come home he says "hey mommy!"Look at my other video to see Kirby flip! There is a very large space in my heart for birds. I don't think I will ever be without them!

My Kiwi had an accident. He got spooked and fell between a chair and a dresser. We took him to the vet b/c he couldn't move his legs. I wasn't working at the time, so I watched him every minute of the day. He was on lots of anti-biotics and pain meds. He only lived a week after and woke me up in the middle of the night suffering and died in my hands.

thats so cute. my quaker says "uh oh" "pee-a-boo" "where's the boat" "good bird" "gotcha" "i'm a good bird" laughs, sneezes, imitates a zipper and makes kissing noises. he has yet to learn how to fart
