Wait for it... alarm at 1:02! My camera doesn't do justice to just how obscenely *LOUD* the "foghorn" alarm on this clock radio is. It sounds as if all the filter capacitors suddenly failed and it's just feeding raw AC to the speaker. I used it one morning and it woke me up in a panic, so I devised a more permanent method of hitting the Snooze button.

  • Well at least it was only a sounddesign, and not something that's actually worth anything.

  • I liked the '80s styling, but otherwise it was a piece of rubbish. I was going to donate it to charity, but I decided that not even a poor person should suffer with such a horrible clock radio!

  • Hey vwestlife, I have a question for you. On a standard clock radio, which alarm setting do you think is the loudest? The music or the alarm buzzer? I'm just wondering just for your opinion on that too.

  • It depends. Each particular clock radio has a different alarm sound. Some let you adjust the loudness of the buzzer/beeper with the volume control; others do not.

  • 0:35 snooze button alternative

  • I have a Lloyd's POS clock radio from the 1980s that deserves this fate...although I am either going to use a sledge or my car to demolish it, haven't decided yet.

  • I had that exact alarm clock and it served me well for many years. It didn't deserve a fate like that!

  • MADE IN CHINA

  • clock told me to he was a soul lol

  • @TheSliderzone I dunno man, I think he is onto something here. Cinder blocks are the wave of the future. Upgrade from your hammer. Screw the alarm clocks! We will win this war!

  • You smashed it??? Why??? My Grandma has one of these in her rarely used guest room (except it's made by GE), as well as an old Hitachi television, from 1979. When I go there, it's a blast from the past!

  • HAHA wasn't expecting that

  • retarted
