the people of Burma are being oppressed by a military regime. the military shoot protestors including children and buddhist monks. the protest is to show support for the people of Burma and Aung San Suu Kyi, the leader of their pro democratic that is being held under house arrest by the junta.
Sadly I must say that a Burmese army has never surrendered with only protests. The army doesn't care what people say. My guess there must be a British fleet near the coast to actually heed all this
