  • this guy clearly doesn't understand how the school system works

  • The disrespect that our president was given over this for no logical reason far out weighs any argument against his speech. My kid missed out on the historic live speech because of paranoia and lies! Most of the people that were opposed to this speech probably let their kids surf the net unregulated and watch shows like Family Guy and South Park. Hypocrisy is running a muck on the Right these days.

  • The thing that gets me is these people opposed to the speech probably let their kids watch shows like Family Guy and South Park. How could they be afraid of what the leader of the free world would say by comparison. This is truly a sad day for this Country.

  • the same thing as when the democrats investigated the bush address to children in 1991. grow up

  • The Democrats made no where near as big a deal as this new band of anti-Obama fringe looneys. You are the only one that needs to grow up and start telling the truth.

  • I have no kids. I am not a republican. Im an independant. I am also totally against Obama speaking to any kids telling them anything unless their parents bring them to an event on their own accord.

Is this not the parents decision? If a parent doesn't want this, then I respect that.

The notion that the president should be able to say whatever he wants without regard is absurd. He is accountable for what he says like anyone else addressing the kids.

  • I just try to put myself in the wayback machine and imagine if George W. were to do the same thing if anyone would have had a problem. I have a hard time believing there would have been a problem with Bush. I find this very disturbing.

  • i'll bet this dumb fck shit bag ed had nothing but huge respect for dubya!!

    two faced fcking douchebag!

    GLENN BECK RULES..........

  • lol I think they have more of a problem with his politics, stop being so racist.

  • First off I agree that the speach should have been shown live in all American schools, I'm just saying that there is a lot more red tape involved in showing anything in a public school then people think, you don't just turn on a tv. School budgets are tight already, no thanks to the gov, and they can't afford law suits.

Oh, and also, hypocrisy is not exclusively right, the whole system is full of it.

  • It is insulting, but this is the reality of a racist, ignorant bunch of republicans. What they don't realize is a divided house cannot stand. It's out of control. Folk arm yourselves against the right-wing nuts.

  • the same thing happened when bush addressed children in 1991. why does this man pretend that never happened? hes misleading you and playing on your emotions

  • since when do politicians tell the truth? they always lie. i dont care who it is
