the problem is if you leave it all open then it gets abused and others start profiting from it and misrepresenting it. I have no problem with his appointed guardians protecting his name, reputation and intellectual property. Nothing wrong with paying my way.

The Joseph Campbell foundation sound like a load of pretentious silly little boys.
Get over it, guys.
Or maybe he's just a meal ticket for them.
In reality, all his work should be available.This is not for scholars or people who think they are clever or special.
They should go get a job and just leave his website as a homage with all his works.

The visuals of this video short-change the beauty of its words. The video could be great without the animation. Putting in simple scenes ( of outer space, people of various cultures, or whatever...) that did not call attention to themselves would be an improvement. Thank you for your hard work on this one! The audio is great.

I tried many times to contact the one who does all the web 'control', on myspace and all he did there was chatting and befriending up girls. After being denied any answer regarding my questions and remarks I decided to leave the Joseph Campbell Foundation. I guess I will just admire JC and leave the yucky 'stuck in metaphors' JC religion for what it is. :-(

I would assume Joseph would not want his work to be hard to access.

This computer-voice doesn't do any justice to Campbell. I appreciate the work that was put into this, and I'm sure we all agree that the words themselves are powerful and moving, but this display is unimpressive

@PapaWilk ....the joseph campbell foundation is fairly strict with uploading any of his works. I wanted to get something up from him...and this seems to be the only thing that git past them....I do agree.
