This is the XPFW 747 making a landing at LOWI. We have a thread going in our forum called 'greasers' which I believe means smooth landing. That's what I did this for.

  • Is that the maximum zoom out for xplane?

  • @VIPBaller Oh, no. You could zoom all the way out into outer space if you wanted to.

  • there's no spoilers or reverse thrusters? o.O

  • Oh yes! It has spoilers and they're up, I know flaps should be at full but, eh, I just didn't. It has trust reversers but this is the v8 747 where the engine case doesn't open. XPFW's new one will show it properly.

  • look's like you have done that once or twice mike

  • i have the virgin livery but when i open the 747s folder there is no folder for livery only for paint kit but i cant put the livery in paint kit it wont work does any1 no what to do

  • @ToppervisionEnt hey i know this was two years ago lol but i just wanted to ask you for help with landing the big planes like the 747. i just cant get it to land back first because i always land front first cuz when i slow down the plane enough to decend with flaps on it just wont go all the way down. and if i slow down enough to start decending at the last minute i cant tilt up to hit back first because im going to slow to tilt up. please help me if you can id appreciate it

  • @DocterGoodness you flare the nose at the last minute by pulling up on the yoke... usually this is done for most commercial pilots landing at say Heathrow or LAX. its called an ILS approach. or instrument landing system.

  • How do you land back wheels touching first? ffs lol.

  • Where is the livery for this plane, i can never find a Virgin atlantic liveyr for the 747

  • nice

  • what is the download link for this plane?

  • nice landing

  • what happened to spoiler and reverse thrust?

  • I flew on ruby tuesday!
