  • greek is the greatest and most rich language in the world . its the best language ever and it didnt get to be the international for one vote . the greek guy voted english instead of his mother language and now the english scratch their balls all the time without doing a thing while we greeks have to pay a load of cash to learn english french german italian .... which are mostly influanced by greek . the word alphabet is greek and i myself am greek . so start learning cause its so f@cking cool !

  • Nicely said - and how true. I am currently re-reading Apollonius Rhodius - the Argonautica. Not nearly as easy as Homer but a good story nevertheless.

  • It does sound quite interesting. I am greek myself and nowI wish I had learned the language.

  • Thanks for the comment. It's never too late to start learning a language: Greek is astonishing because it has such a long history - far longer than English.

  • tenneral ur Right , man ! and u know that : )

  • I'm sorry, but who, may I ask, is your favorite poet? Can you do a video on him?

  • You diden't miss much with 300 , it's nothing but some unintentionly hilarious dialog and men in speedo's. Great video btw

  • I'd say no. But I don't know what is. Languages, like animals, have evolved and consequently they have oddities as well as virtues. If by scientific you mean most adapted to scientific thought, well - my dear grandfather had to learn German to do his science degree in the 1890s followed by a doctorate in Heidelberg. But that's a different story!

  • Let me ask you something about Latin though. Could it be said that the Latin language is scientific? By that I mean can it be thought of the most scientfic of languages?

  • "Ηροδότου Αλλικαρνησσέος

    ιστορίης απόδεξις ήδε..."

Thank you for this video. You have made me to follow once again Herodotus in his journeys and remember the daydreams that I had because of him back in my school days. You are great !

    Greetings from Greece
