The rich also take advantage of tax benefits. Example, cash for clunker program. The poor can't afford to go out and buy a new car even with the break, however the poor subsidize the rich because they can. Some rich hide their earnings by having offshore accounts. They also exploit illegal immigrant workers, thus diluting the labor pool.

The problem with the rich is they have a sense of self entitlement and a false sense of what's mine is mine. Forget it doesn't work with me. You need to pay a disproportionate amount of tax to pay for the military to protect a system that allows you to make unlimited amount of money.

the rich pay most of the income taxes...what they do with thier savings is thier business...part of the problem with america is there are too many people looking for easy money instead of working thier asses off and enjoying the fruits of thier labour instead of stealing fruit from those who tended thier trees
