oh .. and one more thing ... what type of glue or tap did you use to put the pages together. Thanks again.

Hi Leda. Love your book! I had a question as to how you colored your enveiope edges. Did you start with white envelopes and ink them? Looks like a fun vacation. Thanks for the posting.

Hello, the envelopes are actually completely blue. I purchased them from a stationary store in my area. The inspiration came from our trip. We saw the Blue Man Group and the envelopes are the same bright peacock blue. The finished album ends with pictures of all of us standing with the blue men in Chicago. Thanks for your inspiring comments. Keep scrapping! (Oh, I use Scotch glue sticks and permanent glue tape.)

Dear duchessam5,
Laura Denison has a great tutorial on the envelope pages you asked about. Mine are shorter but constructed the same way. The YouTube video is entitled "Tall Envelope Mini Scrapbook Album Tutorial" by FollowThePaperTrail. Enjoy!

Dear friskerbizkit,
Thanks for the encouraging comments. The stamp on the back cover of the Chicago book is from a collectin by KAISERscrapbook called SEALS. The quotes I use in most of my books are a collection by Cloud 9 Design called Simple Thoughts - Memories. The tags I emboss and cut out are call Doodle Tagged by Autumn Leaves. Hope this helps you find them, they are so much fun to use and really add that special touch. Now that I have a blogg up, I'll start listing this kind of info. : )
