I live in San Francisco, so you can imagine this city is brimming with "trainers" that are certified from the SFSPCA academy and their progressive, positive ideology that mess up most of their dogs for big bux. Even a lot of the owners of these dogs are militant on "positive only" because a struggle with an untrained dog makes them feel morally superior, if it reflects back on them that they are "nice" people.
There are trainers here that specialize on retraining messed up dogs from such clowns
-
I'd also be happy to provide testimonials for the HUNDREDS of dogs I have successfully trained after they were nearly ruined by "positive" trainers.
-
I've worn my tri-tronics collar on the highest stimulation. It's not bad, it's not a taser, but if these trolls think it hurts so badly, maybe we should start "training" these moronic positive training fanatics with them.
-
Oh yes, another thing you invented in America (and would happily enlighten the rest of the world about its benefits) is crippling cats by declawing them.

@LatitudeClear We did already. He said he rather works than study all day. He would love to have a job where he is outside all the time and can chase stuff. What about your dog he must be very clever, having a teacher like you
-
@Romanvdg Have you sat down and discussed the pro's and cons of the different Colleges that your dog plans on attending when it becomes old enough to move out of the house?
-
I love how the anti-ecollar trolls compare them to using on children! Really?! Why in the world would you compare the two? I like having the ecollar as an option for training if I decided I want to use it-FOR MY DOG. Of course I'd never use it on my CHILD! Its a DOG COLLAR! Idiots.
-
@Romanvdg - Also, feel free to specify exactly why you're opposed to e-collar training so that we know where you're coming from. Obviously, the anthropomorphization argument is silly and always has been so we can dismiss that but I look forward to hearing any other points you might have.
-
@Romanvdg - I'm still waiting for you to back up your comments with logic and fact instead of emotion and rhetoric. If you want to discuss dog training, then be an adult and discuss it. Better yet, post a video of yourself working with a dog that YOU trained. Be specific about the details of your training because at the end of the day, it's not about making money, it's about utilizing efficient, HUMANE methods that get results. I'm always open to learn other methods, are you?
-
@leonardletoto See I knew you would come back with a comment like this sooner or later. End of the day you want to make money with them e-collars and you will tell anything to do so.
I'm sure that is not a shock collar. But, a trainer gave us an actual SHOCK collar. My dog would cry out and shake after being shocked by it and would end up with burns on her neck from it. They do sell those collars out there and they're terrible. PETA has not stopped it. I really think they should. I refuse to do that again to my dog. I'm hoping this type will be more humane.

@StellaisBack the trainer clearly was an idiot, but the collar cannot cause burns but some dogs can have a skin reaction and get sores
