EDITORS NOTE
I have spent the past three weeks working on a multifandom of sorts that I intended to use for this challenge. Yesterday, watching some really great entries from a few other contestants prompted something of a wake-up call to me as I finally admitted to myself that I really wasn't happy with what I had of the multifandom. I had considered making this Supernatural video for this round before I started the multifandom, but I thought the song to be too challenging and the source material too vast. Yesterday however, inspiration (or perhaps desperation and a bit of not wanting to revise for exams) struck and now here we are. I hope you all enjoy my entry and I wish those who remain in the competition the best of luck! All I have seen of this round so far has been incredibly impressive and I had a lot of fun making this video.

I have to say that I owe an awful lot of this video to the help, lyrical interpretation and knowledge of Caitlin (ccmrose) and Michelle (BottledMichelle). Thank you both so so much.

JUDGES NOTE
I wanted to follow the lyrics of the track where possible and then chronologically examine the story arcs of the five seasons during the musical interludes. I decided to end the video on the brotherly tone because I felt that the essence of what was said in those quotes is the very reason that Sam and Dean managed to get through the apocalypse. I felt it a logical conclusion to the build-up provided by the voice overs during the instrumental parts of the song - where Michael and Lucifer failed to resolve their differences, Sam and Dean did not. Any flash transitions in the video were from the original source. If I had to slow any shots down by a few frames to hit a beat, I slowed the shot in its entirety down and not just a fragment.

Now that I have completed my SYTYCV entry, I have to really throw myself into revision so I won't be around here much for the next few weeks.
