Unless there's another album that I'm not familiar with that you're referring to, this track was actually on the Mos Def album "Black On Both Sides" (which was, as you stated, on Rawkus).

This Track was on the album "Mathmatics" released in 1999 under the Rawkus record lable. there is also a part 2 track that flows right off this one as if it was written all at the same time.

Yes this is a definate hiphop classic to always be a timeless beat that can't become over played.
