Breast Cancer Survivor - "Sisterhood"

This song was one of the songs I wrote while undergoing my treatment for Breast Cancer (Surgery, Chemotherapy, and Radiotherapy). I'm now a 7 year survivor and enjoying life, especially with my family. The video depicts scenes from our campaign in New Zealand to expand the Breast Screening age to 40- 69 years. As a result of our Petition of 125,000 signatures to the NZ Government, the Government expanded age of Breast Screening to 45 - 69 yrs in 2004. We, Breast Cancer Action Trust, continue to fundraise and fund mammograms to women 40 - 45 years through our Save the Women Programme in New Zealand - see www.savethewomen.org.nz
