**NOTE!!**
-This fight was played against a computer on Edge Master difficulty, which happens to be the hardest difficulty in this game. You may take this as a test of my skills, but please note, that I had button lag while doing this.
So, this video is a matchup with The Apprentice and Tira.
Since I don't need to explain what Soul Calibur is(like I did in the previous SC4 video), ll just explain characters who are fighting in this video.
The Apprentice is a Star Wars character, Darth Vader's secret apprentice.
His true name is Starkiller. He has his own game, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed as well.
I'll be going these two characters through.
The Apprentice is often referred as a bad-ass character in this game, but god, can he be effective with not so much effort.I know, that 3rd party characters in fighting games bring a lot from their own universe, but did Namco really had to make The Apprentice THIS strong?! He can combo anyone with ease, if you know how to do them.
Luckily, like other Star Wars characters in this game, he has the Force gauge.
The Force gauge is used to use your Force-based attacks, like in The Apprentice's case, firing electric shocks. The Force gauge will deplenish as you use these moves. Once you use a Force-based move, that requires more Force than you have in your Force gauge, your character will after attack become completely vulnerable for attacks for a second or two. However, the gauge can be replenished by landing succesful attacks on opponent. It will also replenish in time, but who the heck has time to do it?
Obviously, Starkiller uses a lightsaber, but... He holds it behind his back.. Cool, if you ask me. He has some great lines as well.
The Apprentice is a bit uh... off the balance, I think, but he's might fun to play with. You'll see one example why in this match. Also, I'm not good with The Apprentice.
Now, onto my opponent, Tira.
If I had to describe Tira shortly, I would say "A two-minded girl."
Yes, Tira suffers from being two-minded for some reason. On the first round she might be happy and full of energy, and then she might be quickly more angry, and less caring about her body. "Any means necessary" would describe Tira's angry side. But then again, Tira was pretty much more angrier and that in Soul Calibur 3, so if you liked Tira in SC3, you might enjoy saying with her
"old" accident something. Tira holds a cartwheel or something.(lol)
I suck with Tira, btw.
Match Details:
