great video

Hey fisherman. Craolina rig is a form of set up for your hook and weight. It really has nothing to do with your rod and reel. Many other videos showing carolina, texas and dropshot rigs.

Excellent video!

Dude help me out if you can cause you cast with authority. If I want to use a one ounce weight carolina style with a six foot plus leader, how do I cast that thing with a baitcaster without hooking myself or putting out an eye? Serious question and all the things that can go wrong is damn funny. But like they say you can't catch fish if your line is not in the water. I might just do this with a spinning rod.

@ferkco sorry it took so long to reply. I didn't even realize I could. First off, why are you using a 6ft leader? Are the conditions requiring a leader that long? I've never casted a 6' leader but my advice would be to bring the rod back slowly so the leader won't be flipping around and just lob it as smooth as you can. Try shortening it up if you can and you will see your distance improve a bit. Good luck, man!
