Oh I see! Yes, you are right! Sorry, I didn't notice the comment. I have never heard about that nowadays, but I knew a singer who was wounded during the World War II. That man had a very high voice then. Once someone joked on the matter in a rude way and made the singer cry. So simetimes it happens incidently.

I'm quite familiar with countertenors (such as David Daniels, or Yuriy Mynenko), that wasn't my point. -also in the post it says Jean is a Castrati. I didn't think they did that anymore. i.e. "snip-snip"
