An REI gimme shelter!! I thru-hiked the AT using this tarp with a polycro groundsheet instead of the included floor. What an awesome shelter! Totally bombproof, and light too. Thanks for the vid!

rain sounds good, was that thunder and lightening? not to keen on lightening storms when in a tent.

I was camping at Possum Kingdom State Park last Friday. Right after we put up our tents and a tarp for shade, it began storming and hail the size of a quarter. There were two storms, about 30 minutes apart only lasting about 30 minutes each. It made the trip more fun, overall.
